FSPS membership is open to Swiss private schools that have been in existence for at least two years, that provide the required proof of quality (see quality assurance) and that meet the other requirements set out in the FSPS membership regulations.

Private schools based in the cantons of Vaud or Geneva must first be accepted by the respective regional association:

• Association Vaudoise des Ecoles Privées
• Association Genevoise des Ecoles Privées

Membership fee

FSPS membership costs between CHF 450 and CHF 3,500 per year, depending on the size of the school. This is measured according to the total of all salaries subject to OASI contributions. New member schools pay a one-off admission fee. All member schools also make a contribution to the FSPS scholarship fund («Schülerfranken»).
