The secretarial office of the Swiss Federation of Private Schools SFPS is not in charge of teacher recruitment and we must request you to contact the member schools of our federation directly.

For information on vacancies in public schools you would have to contact the cantonal educational authorities. Furthermore please note that some schools advertise the open teaching positions on their own website (as mentioned above you find these schools on our homepage as well), or on the following websites: www.agep.ch (for the canton of Geneva), www.avdep.ch (for the canton of Vaud), on www.sgischools.com (for international schools) and www.lehrstellen.ch or on our website www.swiss-schools.ch (under “Jobs”).

For the concern of acceptation of diplomas and further questions thereto, please contact the following public authorities: the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation SERI and the Rectors’ Conference of the Swiss Universities CRUS.

According to our knowledge, there is no centrally managed job board for private schools in Switzerland. We hope to have helped you with these information and wish you all the best for your job quest.
