In her presentation entitled ‘Digital Wellness: Technology, Psychology, and the Next Generations’, Keegan Lee gave a fascinating insight into how digital environments shape the identity, behaviour and relationships of young people. In particular, she highlighted:
• the effect of algorithms and social networks on the brains of children and adolescents
• the particular vulnerability of Generation Z
• the role of emotional intelligence, peer pressure and neurobiology
• ways in which parents and schools can strengthen digital resilience
• educational strategies for the responsible use of digital media
The event concluded with a cocktail reception at the Galerie des Alpes and impromptu guided tours of the Federal Palace, personally accompanied by FSSP President CN Dr. Gerhard Pfister.
