The aim of Swisscom’s ‘Schools on the Net’ initiative is to give all Swiss schools a high-performance internet connection, free of charge. Swisscom covers the majority of the installation costs and part of the ongoing fees. In 2022 alone, the support provided for private schools totalled around CHF 800,000. Thus, FSPS members save a considerable amount. Each school can benefit from the sponsored connection as soon as it is activated, for an unlimited period of time.
